Join Sharna Fabiano, a internationally recognized Tango teacher and University Professor of Tango, for three days of tango dancing and yoga. This will be an amazing three days and very unique for us.
Enjoy the exquisite Vermont countryside and connect through both tango and yoga at this unique mountain sanctuary.
The Retreat
Yoga & Tango in Vermont is an opportunity to connect mind and body, nature and community, dancing and dreaming. You’ll become a calm and confident leader, replenish with a daily yoga practice designed for tango dancers, and re-energize your spirit with mountain hikes led by the Ranch’s owner, a professional equestrian, and his three incredible horses.
We’ll dance on a custom-built hardwood floor and stretch and spiral outside on the “yoga deck” with gorgeous views of the surrounding landscape. In the evenings, spend quiet time in a tipi overlooking the river, sit around a bonfire, or relax in the hot tub under the stars.
I grew up in southern Vermont, and these mountains, trees, and wildflowers still feel like home. It’s my great pleasure to offer this weekend retreat to tango women.

Our Venue
Stowe Mountain Ranch Retreat is a cozy, intimate sanctuary that we will have all to ourselves. The original structure was completely renovated and re-designed specifically to nurture authentic, meaningful gatherings of small groups to practice yoga and related disciplines. Its mission is to help all of us to better connect with ourselves and with those around us.
The ranch is nestled within the mountains of Stowe Ski Resort, a short hike from a beautiful 40-foot waterfall and natural swimming hole. The natural landscape is preserved in Vermont more than in most places in the United States. There are no billboards and strict regulations around commercialization of the land. The town of Stowe has banned chain stores entirely.
The Ranch runs in part on an extensive system of solar arrays. Bedrooms are uniquely named and beautifully decorated, and almost all have views of the mountains, barns and the horses. A private chef prepares delicious meals for us every day with local ingredients.
